Bringing Hope Next Trip
Since 1994, the CRECE Bringing Hope Project has been organizing delegations to deliver clothing, shoes, medicine, sport materials, and school supplies to children and families in rural communities in El Salvador and in Huehuetenango, Guatemala (Aldea Secheul).
We would like to invite you to participate in our delegation from July 25 – August 13, 2019.
Your participation to stay the entire trip is optional or you may choose to leave a week before.
Bringing Hope 2014
CRECE is committed to working for social justice, in solidarity with the Central American people. We raise support for underserved communities in El Salvador and in the United States. This support goes to assist community economic development. Our delegation is also teaming up with Salvadoran doctors to bring a health dental fair to the communities that we will visit. In addition, we plan to help the San Juan los Planes School and the development of soccer schools. With our help communities benefit saving money they can use for other basic needs.
We will be staying in the communities for a cultural exchange, to learn about contemporary problems these communities face, and how we can collaborate to solve such problems. We will participate in meetings with the youth and also meet with some deputies of the FMLN from the Legislative Assembly to learn about how current reforms are impacting the lives of Salvadoran citizens.
If you would like to collaborate with CRECE you can:
- Join the delegation (purchase your plane tickets to land in El Salvador on July 25th)
- Make a tax deductible donation
- Donate new or like-new materials
We ask that each participant who would like to travel with us this summer bring one or two extra suitcases so that we can help take our donations to Guatemala and El Salvador.
